A stairway of 1206 steps from the bottom of the cable-car to the top of the mountain. Could be difficult to find the starting point, but people will always help if you ask for direction (or search for the trail online).

Amazing mountaintrail up the Fløya mountain on it’s north side. Handmade sherpa-stairs all the way to the Fjellheisen upper station. You can reach the top of Fløya mountain and write your name in the book on the varde (top-point of the mountain) og enjoy a icecream and the view over Tromsø and Kvaløya from the Fjellheisens roof terrasse.

Sherpas from Nepal have built this very special staircase. It has 1203 steps and it ends in the same place as the Fjellheisen Cable Car.

These stairs take you straight to "Tromsø's roof"/Fløya/Fjellheisen, which rages 421 meters above sea level, giving you an amazing view of the Tromsø island and the islands surrounding it. You can get there by walking over from the city center and over the bridge to the main land, or by taking the bus (route 26) from the city center.
