An urban park in Nieuw-West. The park is named after the 17th-century painter Rembrandt. The park was completed in 1973 and has a surface area of 45 hectares which includes a petting zoo and playgrounds.
The Rembrandtpark in Amsterdam New-West is a city park located to the west of the boundary of pre-1940 urban buildings and essentially forms the boundary between Amsterdam Oud-West and Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
This park has many small paths to walk off leash with your dog where you won't necessarily walk into any other dogs. This park is great for dogs that aren't always up for cuddle puddles.
A nice parc to chill and picnic. It has a playground for kids, but also further down a small petting zoo.

“Looming over Rembrandtpark in Amsterdam West, the Ramada Hotel’s 17th-floor rooftop terrace bar Floor17 offers 360 degree views of Amsterdam and a peaceful haven in the sky. Luxuriously furnished, with a good selection of cocktails and dishes served straight from the outdoor grill, Floor 17 is a superb spot to while away an afternoon or evening. The venue also hosts outdoor rooftop film screenings in the summer months and an ice rink in the winter – take a look at the website for details. ”

“Edel by Dennis is located in a former technical school for silversmiths in West. This beautiful state monument, Het Sieraad (The Jewel), has a large terrace at the water’s edge where locals go for lunch, dinner or just drinks. All this in a very exceptional location.”
