The birthplace of the '60s Summer of Love in San Francisco (and your host Allison!), the Haight Ashbury is still a vibrant center of alternative lifestyles, fashion, and food. This is a great neighborhood to walk around to shop and people watch.
The Historic area that became famous in the 60s, a good place to check out but be careful about your surroundings and safer in groups. There are good restaurants including Pork store cafe for breakfast and Cha Cha Cha for a Caribbean vibe.
