Just before the entrance to Coronado along the American Highway, take a road that goes to the in the direction of the mountains. Take that road all the way to end and it leads to the Laguna de San Carlos. When you reach a Y at the end of the paved road turn right and you will drive right up to the parking lot of the Laguna. They are 21 km from the Highway to the parking lot of the Laguna. There’s a beautiful lagoon there where you can camp and swim. Entry costs only $1 for adults, and $0.50 for children, and the camping fee ranges from $5 to $10.
