Always a fun and unique place to visit! Sand dunes, with beautiful colors of nature. Just a short 15 miles North from my Airbnb in Fredonia
Visit at dawn or dusk and be prepared to be awestruck at the colors. Stay for the day and enjoy the hiking and exploration. The friendly staff at the central office will give you helpful information such as where to find dinosaur tracks (which do require a 4WD vehicle). Don't forget the camera!
Oh boy!!! Sand sliding. We haven't been yet but we are super excited to try it out.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is a state park of Utah, United States, located between Mount Carmel Junction and Kanab, south and west of U.S. Highway 89 in southwestern Utah. The park features coral-hued sand dunes located beside red sandstone cliffs.
Where lots of locals go for fun . No dune board or buggie, no worries. Climb the epic sand dunes and slide down on cardboard. Take classic desert pics.

“Truly amazing and extra-ordinary rock formations, sculpted by eons of wind and water into narrow canyons and hoodoos. There is no place like it anywhere else on earth. If your time is short, visit the four view points around the main canyon amphitheater: Bryce Point, Inspiration Point, Sunset Point, and Sunrise Point. If you have time, hike the Navajo Loop trail, Queens Garden trail, and Peekaboo trail. For a longer visit, see all the view points along the highway, to where it ends at Rainbow Point. See the park map for all the trails and viewpoints. ”
