Sunshine has the best natural snow you can ever ask for within close proximity of Calgary. It is situated in a valley with most natural snow dump through the years. Very family friendly and still offer advanced level with challenging slopes. This is MY go-to slope for any day and any weather.

“Are you a fan of disc golf? Then this is the course you are going to fall in love with! Almost a hike in itself, the scenery is amazing, and the course is challenging. You can hire discs at Trail Sports on-site, or buy them cheap downtown at Sports Experts. Don't forget to rent some bear spray at Trail Sports if you don't already have some - this is well and truly bear country. If you don't want quite such a challenging option, try the disc golf course at Three Sisters. Located on Riva Heights, it is 9 easy holes, and it's wide open. There is still wildlife up there - bears and elk are common, but it is not as risky as the Nordic Centre if you don't have bear spray.”
