Head on over to Vista Point for a great 3 mile hike with easy rolling hills, breath-taking views of the lake, and solitude...its rare to find anyone on the trail with you. To find the trail head, enter Vista Point and drive past the group camping sights and look for the day picnic shelter on your left, just before you get to the large parking area and boat ramp. Park next to the shelter, and look for the trail head that starts to the left of the shelter (when facing the shelter from the parking lot). The park is closed at dark and is often shut down during the winter months. There MAY be a 4 or 5 dollar entrance fee...all depends on whether someone is manning the entrance booth.
