“Nell’impossibilità di conservare l’abitazione originale come testimonianza della vita e del lavoro della poetessa, la sua casa-museo è stata riallestita poco più avanti. Siamo nella zona dei Navigli, uno dei quartieri di ringhiera della vecchia Milano, tanto cara ad Alda Merini perché qui è nata e vissuta. Luogo ideale per mantenere vivo il ricordo della poetessa, proponendo a tutti gli estimatori un contesto intensamente evocativo dell’esperienza letteraria e umana della Merini sviluppatasi in quel medesimo ambiente urbano. Il museo è allestito in 120 mq disposti su due piani. Al piano terra è stato creato l’Atelier della Parola, mentre al piano superiore è stata riprodotta la sua camera.”
