West End Beach has a large beach, play structures, and great views to the East across Donner Lake. It is about a 15 minute walk. In the summer, there are lifeguards, concessions, and an entrance fee (usually free in the winter).

A five-minute drive from Donner Lake Cabin will take you to the West End Beach of Donner Lake Chill all day with a picnic, swimming, volleyball courts, playgrounds. Summer fun at its best! A small entrance fee required.

A public beach on Donner Lake where you can catch some sun while a lifeguard is on duty. You'll also find playground equipment, snack shack, sand volleyball and basketball.(peak summer months only)

Great close place to hang out on the beach of beautiful Donner Lake. There are bathrooms, playgrounds, paddle boat rentals, lifeguards, and a snack shack. You can bring your paddle board, kayak, etc. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours.

The perfect family beach spot- clean with a lot of room to space out. There is a parking/entrance fee as well as rentals available (paddleboats etc).
