Restaurants and bars. Slightly shady but well frequented by locals and tourists alike. Most bars are on Hotel street. I like Encore, Tchin Tchin, and Proof amongst others.
Chinatown is a "hip" location in Hawaii nowadays. With all the high rent, young professionals and good restaurants found its way to Chinatown. They also have a lot of bars and clubs that are generally fun during the weekends. Amazing music and vibe!
