The Cook County forest preserve is a vast area, with the Des Plaines River running through it. There are walking and biking trails as well as picnic areas and pavilions dotting the preserve for miles and miles. This is a great place to relax and connect with nature, or simply watch the ducks and other wildlife at the water's edge.
