Barmouth Bridge is a single-track railway viaduct that carries the Cambrian Coast Railway across the River Mawddach estuary in Cardigan Bay. The bridge is a Grade II listed structure, and has one of the longest timber viaducts still in regular use in the UK.

A lovely walk across Barmouth Bridge which crosses the Mawddach Estuary. You will have Cardigan Bay on one side along with spectacular Snowdonia on your other side!! Barmouth is a lovely seaside town with plenty of little shops, coffee and Ice Cream shops. There is currently free parking on the…

Barmouth Bridge is famous for it's beautiful views back to the harbour & the mouth of the estuary, across to Fairbourne & all the way up the estuary towards the mountains. It's a lovely walk & one not to be missed!
