Yes, we have a beach here. The sea is heated to tolerable temperatures...seriously it is. If it's a warm summers day, this is the place to be!

The only geothermal beach in Iceland, with soft tan sand and no waves, a great place to soak up some much-needed sun!
Our tiny (partially heated), local beach. Pack a lunch and get your toes wet. A heated shallow sitting-pool is great for kids of all ages and grown ups alike. You can even bring your own hot dogs or hamburgers and make use of the available BBQ´s on site.

“A newcomer in the food / drink scene. This long time local has recently been renovated with nice brewery - they offer lots of craft beers and decent prices food to go with their drinks! Like always, we recommend going when they have happy hour :D”

“Perhaps one of the more popular museums around. A museum dedicated to penises is certain to raise an eyebrow or two. The museum contains a collection of more than two hundred and fifteen penises and penile parts belonging to almost all the land and sea mammals that can be found in Iceland. Including a human penis ! ”

“Leaving your bags at one of the storage facilities in downtown Reykjavik is both an easy and convenient way to travel light while exploring Iceland´s capital. Steel luggage lockers and video surveillance, make you feel safe leaving your luggage behind and you don´t have to worry about losing any keys. The self service lockers are located in central Reykjavik, within easy walking distance from most of the centrally located hotels, restaurants and sights. There is no need to store your bags in unsafe hotel back rooms or behind the counter where others can access your items. Storing your baggage in the luggage lockers is safe and easy.”
