Canyonlands National Park is a collection of all the primitive and barren peculiar landforms of the western United States: canyons, arches, stone bridges, peaks and pingdingshan. If you want to experience the natural scenery of the western region, you must not miss it.

“Much like Arches National Park but way less crowded, and closer to drive to. Make sure to pack a lunch or snacks and plenty of water to take with you. ”

Museum
“30 minutes south of Blanding. This museum features pioneers that settled Blanding and Bluff. It’s free to visit and it’s a cool place for adults and kids. Checkout la bunch of log cabins furnished with family heirlooms from the actual pioneers and their stories. There is a place for kids to pan for “gold”, hand carts to pull around, “steer” roping, and pioneer clothes for kids to dress up in. My favorite part is the homemade brownies and cookies sold for $1 .”

Point of Interest
“This is an amazing thing to see! This is one of the more noted petroglyph sites in our area. The ancients were definitely telling a story. Take a look and see what you think they were trying to tell us. Less than an hour from the cottage.”
