Now, I know what you might be thinking, "A sport's bar? Really? I wanted artisanal Maine-made lobster rolls in a rustic inn by the ocean! Where's the organically harvested hipster blueberry pie??" Put away any judgements you may have about sports bars and answer this question: Do you like chicken? Of course you do. Who doesn't? You need to go to Hero's and order the sweet-chili boneless chicken wings. I am not joking, these things are some of the greatest chicken fingers I've ever had. I'm not an absolutist but for the exception that Hero's sweet chili boneless wings are the greatest chicken wings in Maine. Sunday, 12–8PM Monday, Closed Tuesday to Thursday, 4PM – 9PM Friday, 11AM – 9PM Saturday, 12 – 9PM

Heroes Sports Bar and Grille opened Nov. 6, 1998 and quickly became the locals’ favorite for food, sports and fun. We were able to staff the place with the best servers and bartenders in town, a tribute to both our commitment to customer service and the leniency of the criminal justice system. Since we’ve opened, the Crimson Tide and the Boston Celtics have both returned to glory, and hell DID freeze over – the Saints won the Super Bowl!

They offer the NFL Sunday Ticket to go along with a tremendous family atmosphere. This sports bar offers quality pub food and beer that fits any budget.
