A super promenade, with numerous taverna's and a lovely atmosphere. The beach has some stone's, which continue into the sea, so beach shoes are recommended. The sea water is clear and full of fish. Take a snorkel and flipppers and enjoy.

Haraki beach is located 36 km south of Rhodes town. It is really quiet with crystal clear waters ideal for numerous activities and interesting water sports like scuba diving. The cove offers an impressive landscape as well as the neighbouring beaches with dreamy waters, rocks and caves, such as Kokkini Ammos and Agia Agathi. Some taverns are found in a close distance offering some nice seafood and greekfood dishes. The beach has an archaeological interest as well, in the left side there is the imposing castle of Feraklos, the first fortress in Rhodes used by the pirates as a base of operations. In a short distance from here, you will meet the picturesque village Archangelos, authentic and traditional.

The sight of children searching for shells among the pebbles, couples gazing out to sea from the alconies of their rented rooms, sun-burned mothers wheeling push-chairs up and down - this attractive little bay definetly offers a family atmosphere. It is mainly visited by tourists renting rooms nearby, but families of local people also come out with their umbrellas and settle themselves on the no-charge section in the centre of the beach. The right-hand side of the beach has large pebbles, while to the left there is sand. If you choose to swim at the far right end of the beach you will have a good view of the Feraklos castle.
