One of the well known attractions in Pitlochry is the salmon ladder at Pitlochry dam. This allows salmon to travel upriver during the breeding season. The dam free to enter and you can enjoy stunning river and loch views from the dam .

View the fish ladder and enjoy the walks around the area. Some lovely little restaurants around the area.

Incredible views and an immense feat of engineering. Plus the salmon ladder is complete with viewing chambers so you can see the fish make their journey upstream. Best to visit in the summer months if you want to see the salmon.
