The highest peak in Columbia County, New York. In Austerlitz, about twenty minutes south of here. Good for a short day hike, moderate difficulty with a few steep stretches. Take care for the poison ivy reported around the trail. Gorgeous views.

This is one of our family's favorite hikes. Whether you take the fire road (easier) or the trail (a bit more strenuous), it's a gorgeous and peaceful walk without too much company. And the trail ends at a giant blueberry patch, ripe for the picking.
