Fixed routes around the island are done by regular busses 28 and 828. You can buy a ticket in the bus or use the dutch public transport chipcard. The Texelhopper are the smaller busses you reserve one hour ahead of your journey, they offer 160 stops on the island from 6am till 8pm. At texelhopper.nl/en/ you can reserve a bus and pay by Ideal or credit card. Or call 0222-784000. If you get used to this somwhat challenging system, they bring you everywhere.
