I like to go here in the morning and have coffee on the porch. The homemade doughnuts, pastries are fun and the meals are amazing. They cook pizza in a wood fired oven and everything is made from scratch.

Get there early on the weekend for breakfast pizza. It's only served on Saturdays and Sundays!

One word - YUM. really rustic, peaceful and relaxing. get a speciality coffee and relax in the garden. no trip to big sur is complete without a stop here!

Located in a fabulous rustic setting in a 1936 ranch-style home built by Frank Post, one of Big Sur's original 'settlers', for his daughter Alice and her husband Steve, the building has since served as a respite for weary and hungry travelers.  Delicious, creative, casual organic food is served at this classic spot.  Delicious baked goods, lunch items, and a full dinner menu are offered. Call ahead to make sure roads to Big Sur are open and to confirm days/hours open as Big Sur restaurants often operate with hours that vary from their websites.
