Ferry or kayak over to Bear Island, spend the day on the beach for serenity, no houses on the island. Amazing views, fishing shelling. There are restrooms and showers on the island

Excellent example of a barrier island that has been left fully intact. Long, scenic beach. Maritime forests. Rolling dunes. Only accessible by private boat or park ferry (located in Swansboro).

Quiet pristine beach only accessible via ferry. Great place to go seashell hunting or to enjoy a quiet walk along the beach.
