The hostel bar at Kex Hostel is a favourite hangout for many Icelanders. The serve good food, great beers and often have quality live music acts.

Cool and cosy, also possible to get food at the restaurant and sometimes there is live music. I recommend finding them on facebook

Being a hostel the bar at Kex has a great mix of locals and turists, very often there's live music or concerts there. Food is excellent as well.

Nice for a beer. They also have good food though. Quite often you can find good live music there. Swamped with tourists as it is a hostel. Really nice in the summer to sit outside.
