This village is appreciated above all for its conformation to the Bay which gives it a special charm, with magnificent sunsets and a spectacular view of the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos island. The nightlife in Playa Blanca develops in a few selected bars and clubs, mainly concentrated in the area around the waterfront and in the port, where there are many bars, great to sit on the comfortable sofas and SIP cocktails surrounded by a charming landscape and great funky music in the background. For fans of live music, Playa Blanca has many locals with an interesting music and entertainment programming, with performances by groups and soloists.

Just a few minutes walk to the west of the town along the sea-front, you will find the Playa Flamingo beach which is also very clean, safe and family-friendly. Although outside of the town centre, you can still find a number of shops, restaurants and bars to satisfy your needs during the day. This is the nearest beach to the new developments around Montaña Roja, including Faro Park, Carlos Park and Shangrila.
