Iconic restaurant located at Wategos Beach with a range of dining options from fine dining, to relaxed outdoors and adjacent coffee cart. A lovely place to unwind and relax on the grass overlooking the surf and beach.

Would it be a Byron holiday without half a dozen oysters and an Aperol spritz at Raes? Expect to be catapulted to the Mediterranean both in a culinary sense and by virtue of the gorgeous architecture and interiors—not to mention sparkling ocean vistas over Wategos Beach. The Cellar Bar operates by walk-in only from midday to sunset, however, the dining room requires bookings in advance if you feel like treating yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Rae’s at Wategos - Top notch restaurant in a boutique hotel with a stunning view of Wategos beach. Perfect for a long, leisurely lunch. Modern Australian $$$. Don't drive - get a taxi or an Uber from Boonara at Byron or Cedcar Cabin, you'll thank me after you finish off a bottle of one of their superb wines.
