During the tour we will be driving atvs around beaches, mountains and towns, also we will be visiting viewpoints in the top of the hills to get beautiful pictures, the tour starts at playa Brasilto where you are going to get clear instruction of how to operate the atvs, also you will get all the safetly equipment, after this we will start driving north from Brasilito, diving along the coast line, going around playa Brasilto, playa flamingo and playa Potrero, after this we will visit the top of the hills and enjoy at the viewpoint, from here you will be able to see the best ocean view, all along the way we will be looking for Howler monkeys, after this we will return to playa Brasilto and finish the tour. Other things to note Bring beach clothes, we will stop at beach and is optional if you want to swim on the ocean, sunscreen is very important and don’t forget your camera

Welcome to my home! First I will explain you how the Costa Rican diet has impacted the longevity and health of locals. Then you will learn why I chose the specific ingredients for the 6 traditional dishes that we will cook: - Empanadas - Arroz con Pollo (perfumed rice with chicken) - Gallo Pinto (traditional rice and beans) - Tortillas con Queso (handmade tortillas with local cheese) - Picadillo de Papa (potatoes in chunks with ground beef) - Fried Yuca I will demonstrate, oversee and guide the class so that you are the one who is cooking. My goal is that you can replicate the recipes when you return back home. One of the highlights that guests love the most is that you will keep plenty of yummy leftovers, so your experience remains for the following day. I recommend you booking days before departing CR. These recipes have been transmitted generation after generation. I learned them from my mother and they will be handed to you. I will explain to you on what occasions we normally cook them, what are the secrets for the best taste and stories behind these dishes. Making tortillas and empanadas are perfect activities for children, they love playing with corn dough, I do that with my little grandson Samuel when he visits me. Meanwhile, teens and adults learn more elaborated recipes. Please let me know if you have dietary restrictions. Local food has many alternatives.

We will meet at Hotel Villa Amarilla, where we will discuss the conditions- tide, wind, waves, etc. There you will change into a rash guard, put on sunblock, and store your belongings. Then we'll head to the beach, which is just a few steps away (Hotel Villa Amarilla is literally on the beach!), and start the lesson on land. We will go over how to stand on the board, where to put your weight, safety tips, and what we will be doing in the water. A little practice popping up in the sand and then we'll head to the water to start putting everything you just learned to the test! There I will accompany you in the waves and we'll start surfing! *Children 5 and older are welcome!* For those of you interested in getting your kids in the water, I specialize in teaching children. I have two kids of my own, both who having been surfing since they started walking, and sometimes even accompany me during the lessons :) *Other things to note* Bring your bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen (zinc), water and snacks as needed, and don't forget a camera!

We'll meet at Pico Bistro (a cafe located right by Tamarindo beach) and pick out a surf board and rash guard for you. Before getting into the water we will go through safety the correct way to paddle, hot to stand up and some surf etiquette. Before going into the water you will practice popping up a few times on the sand and when you feel ready we'll go into the water. In the water your instructor will be on your side all the time, giving you tips to help you improve your surfing as we go. Your instructor will make sure you have fun and feel comfortable, and get you riding your first wave! The lesson is 1.5-2h long depending on how many people we send per instructor. If you are a more experienced surfer, we can discuss what you want to improve and then in the water your instructor will give you pointers on how to perfect your surfing.

Please let us know what time is best for you and we'll adjust. If you'd like to see the sunset we can adjust the time to about 4:30 pm. The departure will be in front of Iguana Surf Camp and Surf Shop inTamarindo (not inside the surf shop but on the beach you will see our horses). From that point we'll start heading south along the tamarindo shore. We will take stops on the way at different sites to enjoy the views. The route has beautiful sites from where you can photograph stunning sunsets (if you choose to ride in the afternoon), rock formations shaped by the repeated fall and rise of the sea, and spot holler monkeys up in trees if it is the right time. The final destionation can be as far a Langosta beach, but we'll leave it up to our guest how far south you'd like to ride. Tamarindo is famous for its waves so you will also see many surfers riding the waves of this wonderful beach. This will be a Pura Vida style Tour on the beach and forest with our great horses. You will watch surfers, nature and animals from the saddle. This place is unique and magical, especially early in the morning or at sunset. Once again, please let us know what time during the day works best for you. Safety is very important to us as well so we'll make sure we'll show you how to ride before the tour leaves. The Famous Beach and Pool Crawl is Tamarindo's oldest and longest running Bar Crawl! Everyone meets at El Be! Tamarindo beach club every Sunday for a pre-party between 12:00-1:00pm. Once you had a few beers and mingled with fellow crawlers you make your way on an old American school bus and we head on out to the coast. Tunes are blasting and you get to know your neighbors as you drive out of town to explore 3 amazing secret spots. There are pool parties with a DJ, beautiful beaches and amazing cocktails and food, with live entertainment, and you end the epic day watching the sunset with your new friends with a blazing beach bonfire in the background. The party doesn’t stop at sunset! The bus ride back is the best dance party and the highlight of the day. We have room for 50 crawlers each week and often sell out so please ensure to book ahead! We'll meet at the Perfect Break Surf Shop in Tamarindo and head to the sand, where we'll talk about the tide, wave conditions and safety information, before getting you out with the perfect size surf board (we have a wide range to suit all) and rash guards. You can safely store your belongings at perfect Break in our lockers Before getting in the water we'll take the boards to the sand, where I'll demonstrate the correct technique for paddling, popping up on your board and you'll have a chance to practice until you feel ready to go! We'll jump into the water where I'll be by your side to help, instruct, guide and encourage you as you surf the waves; putting all you learn on the beach into good practice! I will give you tips as we go, to help you perfect your paddling, positioning and balance on the board and, most importantly, we'll have fun and I aim to get you excited about surfing! For those more experienced surfers we can discuss your goals and help tailor teaching, techniques and tips to help you achieve these. Other things to note 1. Guests should be able to swim 2.
