We explore the lake and the local village next to the Conservation Area (Tamblingan Village) showing you how Balinese people life traditionally. Most of them are fisherman and farmer; not really involve themselves with tourism. And when it gets dark and the stars are coming we will prepare some fresh, healthy and homemade delicious Balinese dinner at our family house. Guitar tunes, a cozy bonfire, local cocktail (my special recipe) and the milky way will be in our company until we are ready to go to our tents, to end the night. DAY 2 - Wakeup by witnessing one of the most beautiful sunrises coming up from the mountains. We will wake up around 7AM and I will take you to my secret spot by driving very close by. This would be described later once I meet you. I will serve you fresh tropical fruits, decent Indonesian breakfast, Balinese snacks, coffee and tea for breakfast after exploring the secret spot. After that we will discover and learn about the tropical rainforest that is home to many plants, trees and animals by easy level trekking and canoeing over the Tamblingan lake: Afterward we’ll explore the jungle by easy trekking and are accompanied by a dedicated and professional jungle ranger who will explain to you everything about he tropical wildlife, plants, and the history of the Tamblingan lake with its amazing jungle and ancient temples. Canoeing with an old dugout canoe through the lake with a green scenery hill and mountains will be a perfect way to finish the trek. We continue our trip by visiting a traditional Balinese house in the village where you will see directly their simple life and habits. You are warmly welcomed with a delicious Balinese lunch that is served by the chief's family (my co-partner) which we happily involve in this tour to support them. By booking this tour you are supporting fisher men, locals, jungle rangers, and the local communities of Balinese who are part of this experience. A percentage of profit goes to support our social impact event such as Plastic Lake Clean Up, donating to NGO to protect endangered animals in Indonesia, and each booking we plant 1 tree. You will be registered at Ministry of Forestry Indonesia before entering the jungle conservative area and the money will goes also to support the government protecting the wildlife in the North of Bali. The trip will take full 2 days - we will start at 7-8AM pick up and finish around 2-3PM on the second day (arrived back around 5-6PM).
