Ortigia is one of the most characteristic islands of the Sicilian East Coast and you can have an amazing view over the entire ancient harbor and castle of Siracusa from the sea! I exceptionally decided to give you an option: If the day is good for waves, we can transform our SUP experience into a surfing one, going to the closest surfing spot - it's up to you! Other things to note Sunscreen and a hat, a t-shirt, to avoid to be sun burnt

We invite you to spend a relaxing day on our organic farm in Sicily, surrounded by Citrus, Almonds and Olive trees. Enjoy a day of nature, incredible views, friendly people, great food and wine! Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our citrus gardens and olive grove. We'll visit the gardens to gather some ingredients for our lunch, and then enjoy a fresh meal prepared by Annarella. You'll find out how traditional Sicilian cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, oranges, lemons, etc.. During lunch (or dinner in summer when it is too hot for lunch) we will taste our cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, a tasting of our red wine Nero d'Avola or a white Wine Inzolia to finish with our Limoncello handmade of course. Looking forward to host you here at Three Farm Island. Other things to note Families are welcome. If you don't have a car, there are several buses and trains to Noto. Searching online: INTERBUS,AST orTRENITALIA for time schedule. When you arrive in Noto, we will pick you up.

We will bike around the East Coast of Sicily, where the ancient Greeks used to live here centuries and centuries ago! This is the main reason why this area is called "Magna Grecia", that is to say, the Italian colonies of ancient Greece. If you like outdoor sports and you want to experience the perfect weather in Sicily, come and ride! During this half-day experience, we will see together hidden gems of the area, such as a greek temple, abandoned fields, amazing beaches. (We Can arrange different hours, ask please) the ride is approximately 3 hours long, but don't be afraid of your biking level, we don't push too hard :-) Other things to note This experience depends on the weather conditions. If it rains heavily or if it is too windy, the experience could be canceled.

We will cruise the waters of Siracusa enjoying the sights of Ortigia on board of my Tahiti Ketch, a 30 feet classic sailboat designed in U.S.A. in 1922. According to the weather conditions we will lead to the Marine Protected Area of Plemmirio where we will stop for swimming, sorrounded by nature. We sometime meet dolphins and other sea creatures in this area. While we will be sailing I would like you to help me trying your hand at ruddering Fiesta and trimming the sails with me, as part of the crew. Then we will celebrate the sunset with a nice aperitif in the bay, having a delicious tasting of food and wines made by local farmers and producers. That is the best way to enjoy our sunset. Be aware the route might be changed according to the weather conditions. Other things to note This experience is for everyone and it is an easy way to relax and, at the same time, live the sea for a day. This is also an environmentally friendly sea experience.

L'esperienza si svolgerà all'interno del monumentale Parco archeologico della Neapolis di Siracusa, grandioso sito Patrimonio dell'Umanità che contiene le più importanti testimonianze classiche, greche e romane di questa millenaria città. In particolare la passeggiata snocciolerà il meraviglioso Teatro greco , la lussureggiante "Latomia del Paradiso" , il leggendario e sorprendente "Orecchio di Dionisio", il magnifico Altare sacrificale di Ierone 2°, l'Anfiteatro romano. Quindi dopo aver "assaporato" la storia , ci trasferiremo in un vicino e famoso artigiano pasticcere locale per terminare il tour con una "dolcezza" e prelibatezza tutta siciliana: i cannoli alla ricotta; preparati come vuole la tradizione. Saliti in barca partiremo alla scoperta delle splendide acqua di Siracusa. Circumnavigando l’isola di ortigia e la costa nord verso le grotte marine. Entreremo all’interno delle grotte marine per sentire gli odori e vedere le bellezze della costa siracusana.

Ci ritroveremo presso l’infopoint Syracuse Excursion e da lì saliremo in barca.partendo dallo spettacolare canale di ortigia andremo a visitare l’intera costa di Siracusa da nord a sud. Le belle paesaggistiche e storiche vi lasceranno senza fiato. Cullati dalla barca e dal profumo del mare ci addentreremo tra le rocciose coste della parte nord e sud della costa di Siracusa. Immancabile ovviamente la sosta per fare un bagno nelle cristalline acque.

Sono Manuela e ti darò il benvenuto nella nostra azienda agricola di famiglia che si trova in una cava di pietra riqualificata. Faremo una passeggiata nei nostri campi per riconoscere le piante spontanee eduli e raccogliere le verdure e i frutti che utilizzeremo per preparare un autentico pasto siciliano. Al rientro dalla passeggiata ci sposteremo in cucina dove metteremo le mani in pasta utilizzando le nostre farine integrali di grano antico siciliano molito a pietra per la pasta fresca e il nostro olio extravergine di oliva per valorizzare le verdure e le erbe raccolte. Prepareremo i "cavatelli", una pasta fresca condita con salse di stagione che degusteremo insieme al nostro vino naturale e un dolce tipico siciliano accompagnato dalle grappe della casa. We will start our tour from the central square, a real show, where we will have the chance to try the typical Syracuse coffee! Then we will go to discover the Giudecca, the Jewish quarter where we will eat the real Sicilian arancino, in the oldest bakery in the city. Going through the streets of the island, we will go to discover one of the forgotten neighborhoods of Syracuse, far from mass tourism. We will discover the fishermen district where we will have the chance to eat in the oldest restaurant on the island, more than 100 years of history, still maintained by the same family! We will taste many different foods, cheeses, caponata, fish, we will try the liquor made by the owner of the tavern and the best cannolo of your life. Un giorno in barca a vela Veleggiata lungo la costa siracusana. Potremmo nuotare nell'Area Marina Protetta del Plemmirio o sotto il Castello Maniace, dipende come sempre dal vento e dalle onde. In inverno quando l’acqua del mare non ci consente di nuotare, offriamo un aperitivo con la vista mozzafiato del tramonto nel Porto Grande. Un esperienza unica a bordo di una barca a vela di 9.50m con skipper.

Vi porteremo tra i paesaggi più suggestivi dell'isola di Ortigia, alla scoperta delle scogliere d'oro e delle famose grotte di mare. Avrete anche l'opportunità di tuffarvi nelle nostre acque cristalline e ammirare tutte le meraviglie che il mare offre. Dopo esserci riuniti in un noto bar di Siracusa ( bar Cristina p.zza pancali) , andiamo alla scoperta dell’antico mercato di Ortigia, dove impareremo a conoscere, scegliere, assaggiare i prodotti tipici della terra e del mare siciliano. Una volta scelti i prodotti migliori e preferiti, andremo ad imparare a prepararli e degustarli ( accompagnati da una selezione di vini autoctoni) imparando a fare la pasta fresca siciliana e tutte le più antiche e famose ricette siciliane( caponata di melanzane, parmigiana, alici marinate, cavatelli, pesce alla matalotta, pasta del pescatore, tonno al pistacchio, cannoli sicilani con ricotta ecc.. Alla guida di questa esperienza Ettore Anastasio, chef/professore con esperienza decennale in corsi di cucina e chef del ristorante dove si lavora.

Costeggeremo l’isola di Ortigia ammirando il Duomo,la chiesa si Santa Lucia , Palazzo Veneziano, Ponte Umberto I, porto piccolo, ex carcere Borbonico, Mura Spagnole, Lungomare di Levante, Forte Vigliera, Castello Maniace, la Fonte Aretusa, il Lungomare Alfeo e la Porta Marina. Si proseguirà alla scoperta delle grotte marine. Entreremo in questi anfratti della costa per ammirare stalattiti, stalagmiti, fiori corallini e tante forme originali frutto dell’estro creativo della natura. Infine, faremo una piccola sosta per un tuffo.
