In fact no one else offers this experience anywhere in the world with our custom light system & kayaks and how we've trained the fish to follow us! Become a Fish Whisperer for a magical night under the stars! At our St. Pete Beach locations we'll first visit protected mangrove canal shorelines sometimes with lots of different sea-birds! Afterwards we'll paddle down protected calm waterways lined with oyster beds with no waves whatsoever & see amazing underwater views along with feeding fish which is fun for everyone! The fish will follow our kayaks and get so close you can even touch them! You may also see crabs, shrimp & other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us. No worries there's no crazy critters like Gators or Sharks just curious fish and other sea-life along with an occasional passing Dolphin or Manatee! With literally nothing to do at night in Water Sports, our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night Tours are perfect for families, friends, large groups, or an unforgettable date night under the stars! These are dry kayaks with no water vent holes so no need to wear bathing suits. Our kayaking eco tour explores both the wonderful waters & beautiful beaches of Shell Key Preserve. This is an entirely outdoors experience! We do have to adjust daily tour times to work with the tides+weather so PLEASE LET US KNOW if you are only available for the 1 time slot you select. We'll meet everyone at the launch, do intros, give waterproof bags,& get prepped for kayaking. No experience needed; we'll give everyone a paddling overview! We use primarily double kayaks for ease+comfort. (Your booking time is the planned arrival time. Average water depth 2ft) After that we'll get launched into Shell Key Preserve, a beautiful shallow environment with tons of wildlife & a very interesting ecosystem which we'll discuss+the history of the Preserve! From the shallow seagrass flats to the large mangrove islands to the pristine beaches of Shell Key itself we'll try to cover it all! Including traveling through some mangrove tunnels (tides permitting, mainly Mar-Oct) We'll also look for+talk about some of our incredible wildlife in the Preserve including dolphins, manatees, & other fish/birds! Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. Your guide will be happy to take plenty of photos, provide awesome unique facts, and make sure you have fun along the way! While in the preserve, be on the lookout for a Manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Dolphins frolic in crystal-clear waters throughout the year, and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Don’t forget to look through your clear kayak for a unique view of the ecosystems that are underwater! Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

Capt Yak is a Veteran owned business. We will explore through and around Mangrove Islands, Beds of Sea Grasses and Sand Bars on Comfortable and Easy Paddling Kayaks. Our Sit-On-Top Kayaks are outfitted with adjustable seats with back support that add comfort and paddling ease to your trip. The seat position also allows you to see the abundant sea life below much better than the old style Sit-In Kayaks. Birds, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, shells, manatees and dolphins are some of the wildlife you may see. Greg, "Capt Yak", will immerse you in this vital eco-system and provide you with information on the abundant wildlife and plant life you will encounter on this 3 hour tour. Your route will be based on the tide and wind to make the paddle as easy and enjoyable as possible. Mid way through the tour we will stop at Shell Key where you can Search for shells, take a stroll, swim or just sit an relax. Shell Key is the largest undeveloped barrier Island in the county and vital to the preserve's ecosystem. With nearly thirty years experience conducting field research and working in the zoo field, Greg has acquired a vast amount of knowledge that crosses over to his passion of kayaking.

We will take you on a delicious Brunch adventure in beautiful St Petersburg. We will meet outside of the Historic Detroit Hotel and make our way toward the first tasting venue. Take in the history and iconic buildings in between a total of 4 delicious food stops. Each food venue will have a unique Brunch tasting and you will get to know the local gems of the city. Two of our venues will also be serving brunch-style drinks. If you would like to eat, drink and explore like a local this is a great start! We are excited to host guests from all over the world! Our experience is meant to be social and we create small groups for this purpose. Our food stops will vary as we partner with many eateries in the St Pete districts Other things to note Let us know if you have a food allergy, we can cater for most if you let us know before the tour. Walking is at an easy pace and around 1 mile on flat paving.

We will make stops at 5 different food venues in the Central Arts District. Last: 3 hours The walking tour is 1.5 miles at an easy pace with 5 seated food venues in between the walk.

I’ve mapped out the most fun spots to go, the best times to go there, for the best drink deals in town! We will check out at least 3 happy hour spots! We'll meet at the dock behind The Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach ($20 valet parking!) and depart on a private yacht for a two-hour experience. Canal tours in St. Pete Beach, Tiera Verde, Isla del Mar, and Pass-a-grille. Recline on the exciting bow or sit around tables in the stern to watch dolphins and shore birds. Our vessel offers shade, shelter from the wind, air conditioning, changing areas, and a restroom. We will cruise along a bird sanctuary beside the most notable local landmark, the Don Cesar Resort. Next, we cruise the aqua-blue waters along the white sands of Shell Key for relaxing. Customized music playlists. We almost always observe dolphins, osprey, and other shorebirds, and during the warmer months, manatees. We will then enjoy an amazing sunset and twilight return to the marina.

First guests will meet at the Boat Ramps of Fort Desoto Park where I will introduce myself and the electric bikes. I will show each guest how to use the electric bikes, safety information and an introduction on the park. We will then ride the Fort Desoto Bike trail to the East Beach down Mullet Key and go over the history of the different keys and the large variety of wild life. I will teach guests about the variety of plants & animals we see and how they all work together to support each other & the ecosystem! We will then head around towards the North Beach of Mullet Key along some beautiful waterfront trails. Next, we will stop by the Historic Fort Desoto and go over the significance of the Fort and its history while exploring the ruins. I will take the guests past the pier and off the beaten path through amazing scenery. We will finish by heading back to the entrance of the park and ending our trip there.

We'll meet at the designated cafe right by the beach where there is plenty of public parking, then walk a few steps over to the beach and watch the sunset while I snap golden hour photos of you and your crew! You'll take in the gorgeous views and splash in the ocean as I take your pictures walking alongside the beach. Primarily a couples experience (you will add the quantity of *2* people when booking) unless you would prefer to have a family session in which I can accommodate you for! Once professionally edited, I will send you the link to the online gallery, where you can download your pictures. You, your family and friends will be sailing on Afternoon Delight, a classic Beneteau 38' sailboat. We'll start in Madeira Beach and sail in Boca Ciega Bay. We'll make our way to John's Pass along the quaint waterfront village. If conditions allow we'll go under the John's Pass bridge and sail in the wide open Gulf of Mexico where you'll get to experience the exhilaration of sailing to it's best potential. Wildlife can make the experience extra special when dolphin play in our bow wake. There's simply nothing like it! Sunset sails are a spectacular time for photos and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We conclude back at the Madeira Beach dock.

We are Shell Key's #1 kayak tour. We provide 2 guides on every tour to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Upon arrival, guests will be offered a paddle instruction, making this experience perfect for both experts and first-timers. We use comfortable sit-inside kayaks and paddle at a leisurely pace through the preserve while I tell about the local history, and wildlife & nature we find along the way. Depending on tidal conditions, we will explore one or more of the hidden mangrove tunnels tucked away in the preserve. Approximately half-way through the tour, we will stop at one of several possible landing sites at the island of Shell Key to stretch our legs, swim, snorkel, or collect shells. After enjoying the island, we will make our way back through the preserve, possibly visiting areas or tunnels we did not see before, always keeping a watchful eye out for dolphins, manatees, and the many species of birds that live in the area. We will arrive back at the launch site approximately 3 hours after launch time. Other things to note Contact me before booking if you need a tandem kayak. Anyone under the age of 12 must be in a tandem with an adult. Children 3 and older are welcome on the tour.
