Enjoy days at the water fishing, swimming and paddling 22km of the green and black rivers. Take the short 5 minute stroll into town for ice cream or fresh baked treats. Lay out on the elevated deck with a good book. End your night evening with a fire and s’mores on the shores of the green river. If you’re looking for some day adventures there is nearby hiking, golfing, local breweries and casino rama, downhill skiing at Mount St Louis Moonstone and Horseshoe Valley (30 minute drive).

Welcome to our newly renovated rustic yet refined cottage! It boasts charm with new plank floors, barn board walls, antiques and personal touches throughout. It is cozy, comfy, private and set beautifully on the Green River. In fact, it’s one of the nicest properties on the river. The swans come right up to the dock for feeding as well as the geese, ducks and other birds. We are a quick drive to the town of Washago (less than 5 mins), 10 min to Casino Rama and 15 min to Gravenhurst.

Welcome to The Cottage Living on Green River! Our straight-out-of-a-storybook riverfront oasis, located in the heart of Severn Washago, North of Lake Simcoe. A short 90 mins drive from Toronto into the calmness of nature. We have lovingly renovated our little sanctuary last year, with all new furnishings & appliances, handpicked every piece of decor with rustic finishes giving wholesome Cottage-Vibes!
