It takes in the coast, with amazing views and the nationally significant site of St Blane’s chapel. Although short, it can be strenuous with some rough terrain.

With a little effort well over 50 species can be ticked off on any day of the year if you plan your visit well. Bird hides are located at The Kirk Dam, Ettrick Bay, Loch Ascog and Loch Quien. For more information the 'Bute Bird Group' meet at regularly at the Bute Museum
