Best beach on this side of the island. Located in a bay, calm waters with soft sand. Walk mid way down the beach, stop at the showers..bathroom, ask for Papas beach chairs. His staff will bring you what ever you like to eat or drink. At the end of the day you pay the bill.
If you like fresh shrimp or oysters, locals walk by and offer them. You can ask for them on ice with lemon. Approx 200 pesos per serving. Delicious.

I like the Viator tour, get picked up at the local hotel in Sosua. Bus ride to and from the waterfalls, guides help you, 6 hours round trip. Beautiful tropical forest, crystal clear plunge pools, tropical birds, limestone cliffs a must see!

Fort San Felipe was built in 1564 and is one of the oldest surviving buildings. Constructed with 7 ft thick walls served to keep people out, then turned prison and served to keep people in. The tower contains a small museum of guns, shells and cannonballs, with sweeping views of the Atlantic ocean.

If you need a car rental, send a message they will pick you up at the airport and leave that car with you.just return it back to the airport.
The cost of a Taxi is $35.00 one way to the villa and is a 10 minute ride.
Miguel offers great cars for a reasonable price. He will deliver to the villa. The gas station is 5 min away. Do not fill up the car, gas is very expensive and you likely won`t use a full tank in a week. Best to put $20 at a time.

Zip line, horse back riding or daring Magic Mushroom canyon hike and rappel. Viator tours are my favorite. They have great guides and well worth the price.

The best sushi in town. My daughter eats here three or four times a trip. They make is fresh while you watch, so slow service comparatively. Worth the wait. Minutes from the villa, located just off main street on the way to the beach. I love the tuna and salmon or the California roll is always a good choice.

Heard good things, a must to try if you want upscale dining. French cooking with av flair. A little pricier for Domincan dining but comparable or less than Canadian dinner of equal standard. Love the beach side dining options in Caberete.

Went for the two for one drinks. Mojitos were good but the margarita was too strong, low quality of tequila. Nice beach side bar, fun atmosphere. Be prepared to be sold all kinds of treasures. Nice vendors, very respectful if you say no.
