The best sushi in Malibu if not LA. The vibe is incredible, right on the coast, extremely nice location for all sorts of occasions. Probably the most well-known restaurant in Malibu for its ambiance, service, food and location. If you can get a reservation, Matsuhisa’s sushi is top notch. Nobu is another restaurant that is perfect for a special occasion or even a relaxing seaside lunch.

Adamson house is open to visitors during the week, and it’s interiors have been kept in their original Arts and Crafts style, featuring hundreds of different designs from the now defunct but once prolific Malibu Potteries company―don’t miss the ornate tiled outdoor dog bath at the back of the house. The mansion is built on a creek at the junction of the Pacific Ocean, which was where the Chumash Indians lived until the late 1900s.
