Taking in Ballina/Killaloe, Ogonelloe, Mountshannon, Portumna, Terryglass, Dromineer, Nenagh, Portroe and returning to Ballina/Killaloe. A distance of 125km (78 miles), approximately.
Spend the day driving around Lough Derg, stopping at the many viewing points (The Look Out in Portroe is well worth seeing), and lovely pubs and restaurants along the way.
