Utamaduni is a small restaurant only open for lunch - they do a delicious Zanzibar fish soup. What makes it really good is that it's set next to the Utamaduni Craft Centre - a building with around 10 or so little touristy shops - a great one stop for souvenirs!

Utamaduni is a small restaurant only open for lunch - they do a delicious Zanzibar fish soup. What makes it really good is that it's set next to the Utamaduni Craft Centre - a building with around 10 or so little touristy shops - a great one stop for souvenirs!
Great atmosphere, indoor/outdoor restaurant - book indoors if it's cool and or raining. Reservations advised.

You can visit them between 11 am and 12 pm any day - and it's only 5 mins drive away. It gets busy and you'll need to get there just before 11 am.

This is a lovely little art gallery and bronze foundry. The bronzes make great special occasion gifts as they are quite pricey. We love walking here for brunch on a Sunday morning, or popping in for a healthy and delicious lunch.
