Without any doubt, this place has the best cappuccino in town. A lot of hip crowd there, too. A nice place for mornings and early afternoons. (It sells ONLY coffee)

The best restaurant for grilled meat in Belgrade - and that's what you want to eat when you come to Serbia. Also try the "pita sa suvim sljivama" if they haven't run out - it's a delicious desert! :)

This is a very famous and good bakery. You can buy all sorts of baked goods: sweet or savory! It's a great breakfast place.

This little place right next door to my apartment is a great breakfast option. All of their stuff is good and genuine. If you want more varieties, check out some other places on my map.

This is a small place open 24/7 and it has great pljeskavica and other grilled meat sandwiches. Remember, a pljeskavica IS NOT a burger! :) If you stop by late nights, you will find it full of people!

Vegeterians and vegans will have a hard time in Belgrade, but there are some options. This is one of them - my best frend is vegan, and he tells me it's good! And there are always falafel places! :D

There are several restaurants, bars and coffee shops lined up on this part of the water front. In the evenings it gets quite fancy, but I like to have breakfast or coffee here, looking at the river.

A very nice place with a great view, and fresh fish from the river every day! Make sure to try the spicy fish soup - a Belgrade specialty! (It is on the coast side, not the island, like the map shows)

This is absolutely my favorite place for drinks anytime of the day! Relaxed atmosphere, interesting people, pleasant surrounding and low prices. The waiter Deki is the best! :)

This is one of the few places in Belgrade that actually has good cocktails. It's great for those hot summer nights when you just want to chill until morning - other bars close at 1 a.m.

This has lately become the most hip area in town. You will find bar, restaurants, clubs and art galleries here. I definitely recommend seeing it. Check out "KC Grad" for some concerts.

This is a very cool place. You can have drinks afternoon until morning. In the evenings they have concerts and parties. They also sell designer souvenirs, and on the upper floor they have art shows.

This is one of the coolest clubs in Belgrade, in my opinion. Again, nothing fancy, but good electronical music and fun! Plus they have the best view of the city - make sure to wait for the sun there!

This is one of the oldest streets in Belgrade. It is also very touristy, but I still recommend having dinner there once, to feel the atmosphere. On weekends, there is live music there, which is nice!

Just a small detour from Kralja Petra street. This is where the Academy of Arts is, and there are a few little cafés that overlook the river. It's so peaceful here, you won't believe you're downtown!

Also a must see in Belgrade: Zemun! It used to be a different town, before they merged together, so it has a completely different atmosphere. Nice restaurants and cafés along the Danube there...

This is a well stocked supermarket very close to home, and it's open until 11 p.m. Just for emergencies, there are two other ones that you will find on the same block as the apartment.

I recommend having a walk to the green market. You can find a lot of genuine organic products there. And don't hesitate to try the cheeses that the vendors offer you - they are delicious!
