Cades cove has beautiful mountain views and wildlife. You can drive through and see lots of deer and turkey and I actually got to get pretty close to a bear on one visit. I proposed to my wife there so we go quite often to have a picnic by the river.

The Foothills Parkway is only about 20 minutes away from The Lodge with beautiful mountain views and has many overlooks for great pictures of our beautiful Tennessee mountains. There are also areas to do some hiking and have a picnic.

The mountain views and waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking. Plenty of overlooks for beautiful pictures of the mountains. There are a lot of hiking trails with gorgeous waterfalls. Picnic areas along the way.

Drinks & Nightlife
We love Calhouns food and tiki bar. Best prime rib around and on weekends the bands at the tiki bar and lake atmosphere make it a great place to go. I take my fishing groups to Calhouns quite often and they have always thoroughly enjoyed it. My father-in-law loves prime rib and says it is the best he has had.

Windy City Grille is a great place to hang out for fantastic food and drinks. The buffalo pizza is awesome.
You can eat outside on the lighted deck area.
