The neighborhood gem is about 1.5 miles from our home. They have wonderful made to order delicious Mexican & Salvadorian Cuisine. They have outdoor deck dining as well.
Our favorites are the daily fresh fish specials, sweet corn tamales, and Pupusas which is a traditional Salvadoran dish. Pupusas are made to order: a thick, handmade corn tortilla filled with cheese or pork/cheese (sort of like a soft corn pancake with a filling that is lightly grilled). Pupusas are typically served with curtido (lightly fermented cabbage slaw with red chilies and vinegar). Okay, I love Pupusas and order them every time. http://laredogrill.net/
