Excellent place to get a homemade burger. My favorite sandwhich is the smoked turkey sandwhich. There is outside seating next to Campbell Creek river which is really beautiful in the summer. In the winter, they always have the fireplace going.

Favorite place to view birds in their natural environment. Has lots of boardwalks over the tundra, marshland to check out the migratory birds. In 2019, the local news reported and took photos of a Chinese falcated duck that has never previously been seen in this area, making national news.

This is a local favorite hiking spot in Butte, AK. It's $5 for parking and a moderate hike (depending on your level of fitness). Great exercise! The first 300 feet or so is pretty steep, after that, it gets easier. If you are in good shape, you can complete this hike in an hour or less. Once at the top, you can see all over the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. There is a race track that you can view from up there as well. The views are phenomenal!
