There's always a free tasting going on, but at peak traffic, there are more offerings, they even do scotch tastings and a lot of cool stuff. A local swimming/kayaking place, the water is always the same, 74-degrees. It's crystal clear. Water shoots out of a crack in the limestone like a geyser with such force you can't swim into it. Picnic baskets are allowed, but not alcohol.
There is an entry/parking fee--it goes to maintaining our parks, and it's worth it.
The entire swimming area has a sea wall around it to protect it from runoff infill and making it nicer to swim.

Attempts at redevelopment failed until the 1980s, when an influx of artists began a slow process of gentrification.
