The hiking is beautiful and close, but the tour of the newly redone Folger Stables is fascinating. Who knew raisins were a big crop here for a while?

This marks the top of Pulgas Estates, and has a great view of Bay Area. Take the path down. Fun walk to bottom of the hill and back. Steep, but worth it!

This is a great park right down the street. You take a right on Ridgeway leaving our house. At the Ridgeway and Cinnabar cul de sac, and you will see a small paved trail which leads to park.

If you request to sit outside, this is a beautiful California eating experience. It looks to be near freeway, but when you are sitting there, you more see Santa Cruz mountains. Highly recommended.

I recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you sit outside (if weather is nice). Has a great atmosphere, and brie appetizer is delicious.

For a great breakfast or lunch followed by a hike, this place let's you see where the bikers (motorcycle and cyclists) all meet. Our son loves the Redneck Benedict.
