In the Port Angeles Wharf, on the water. Fresh seafood, great clam chowder! I’m amending this, lately we’ve been here and had a few meals that weren’t as good as before. The view is still fabulous, but we did get some overcooked salmon and burgers. You might ask them to make them a little more rare if you prefer that.

If you want fresh seafood this is the place to go. They fish it, clean it, and cook it. It’s a tad pricey, but definitely fresh and tasty! I love the “crab roll,” dungeness crab, a light coleslaw, served on a toasted brioche (hot dog style) bun. 🤤

Great small menu! A little bit out of the way, a short drive through beautiful scenery. And totally worth it. It’s in the casino (don’t have to walk through a smoking section) on tribal land, so no sales tax!

If you’re headed west or on your way back from being out west, this is a nice little café, we ALWAYS stop for the soft-serve ice cream, it’s the best! The typical diner food (the burgers, however, are excellent) is to go or eat on a picnic table.

Sooo many restaurants downtown!
If you are wandering around downtown and looking for a place to eat, most are wonderful. We have a couple that we recommend avoiding: The Rail, while the burgers are not bad, we think they are overpriced for what you get. Smuggler’s Landing, the fryers always smell like they need cleaning. We think that’s a bad sign. We’ve heard H2O is hit or miss, if you choose there, let us know, they do have a nice ambiance.
