One of my favorite local bars because of the fun and easy going atmosphere. Much smaller venue than most so I recommend for groups of 2-8 looking to enjoy some good food, affordable cocktails, and making new friends.

A must visit for any bachelorette party, this is a dueling piano bar that encourages all guests to sing along and have a good time. I highly recommend getting a reservation for a large group, its also an awesome spot to get any "bride to be" or "birthday girl" up on stage for a toast-and a memorable one it will be!

I highly recommend getting a reservation for a large group, its also an awesome spot to get any "bride to be" or "birthday girl" up on stage for a toast-and a memorable one it will be!
This bar is great as the night gets rolling. Show up early for a free cover and a chance to line dance, or get there in the thick of the night to get your dance on. Short bar lines, tons of space, and a great balance between a country bar and standard club. Usually has live music

Hiking and Outdoors
A steep but short 45 minute hike to the summit, has great views of San Diego and only 20 minutes away. If you need to break a sweat before a night out or want to kick a hangover early in the morning make the drive! Definitely worth it.

One of the best areas for sightseeing and shopping, La Jolla is well known for the amount of biodiversity. Get a kayak trip organized, check out the sea lions, catch some dolphins, or just go for some fine dining. A little far away but always a pleasant surprise.

The name says it all, best sunsets in San Diego located just south of Ocean Beach. Easy free experience for the first or last night in San Diego. Expect some traffic on the way back home though, getting in and out of Ocean Beach usually takes 10-30 minutes.
