Amazing place to eat and drink and awesome views of Hawaii Kai Marina and Ko’olau mountain. My favorite Kona Beer is the Long Board. Their sliders are really good. After snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and/or hiking Koko Head, this places is my go to.

Waikiki beach can be busy, but it’s so worth the trip. During your stay I’ll be happy to share my favorite spots along the shore where your feet won’t bump on rocks or coral reefs. ;)

Not as touristy as Waikiki. Used mostly by locals. Ask me personally for tips on best spots to enter the water, since it’s rocky at certain points. Great for Stand Up Paddle boarding and surfing past the reef. Watch turtles from afar. FYI: In Hawaii it’s ILLEGAL to touch turtles. Use the rule of thumb to keep your distance.

Ala Moana Beach Park
1201 Ala Moana BlvdNot as touristy as Waikiki. Used mostly by locals. Ask me personally for tips on best spots to enter the water, since it’s rocky at certain points. Great for Stand Up Paddle boarding and surfing past the reef. Watch turtles from afar. FYI: In Hawaii it’s ILLEGAL to touch turtles. Use the rule of thumb to keep your distance.

Wear hiking or tennis shoes, hat, sunscreen, bring a lot of water, and go in the afternoon to avoid the hot sun and lack of breeze in the mountains. Crowded hike, but afternoons are less crowded. $5 fee for cars, $1 for pedestrians.

Crowded but a beautiful hike through the jungle that ends at a magnificent waterfall. Stay on the main trail. Follow it’s signs. Pack out what you packed in and help keep Hawaii free from garbage. Hiking or tennis shoes are best. Bring mosquito repellent, water and shoes/clothes to change to afterwards since it’s usually very muddy.
Also, there are many less crowded hikes with similar scenery that I’d be happy to take you on a hiking tour to if you’re interested. I do not disclose its names unless you’re booking the tour.
