National Naval Aviation Museum

Nationally recognized museum for all ages -- educational, interactive and entertaining.
Kids of all ages who are fascinated with aviation must visit this amazing museum. What began as one man’s vision to educate young aviators and endow them with a deeper appreciation of their heritage has evolved over the years into a steadily growing and expanding institution of national significance and of major economic importance to Pensacola. The Museum is now considered the leading tourist attraction between Orlando and New Orleans and one of the top ten attractions in Florida, making Pensacola an ever more popular destination for out-of-town visitors. Through dynamic exhibits, educational initiatives, publications and research, the Museum has far surpassed the concept that fostered it. The National Naval Aviation Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., year-round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s days.

Blue Angels Flight Team Practices

Pensacola is home to the famous US Navy's Blue Angels. The precision and beauty of their flying is a something special to behold and something everyone should see at least once! They fly over the city and the beaches practicing for one of their many air shows every year beginning in March.
Beginning in March each year, when the Blues are in town, you can see them practice Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 11:30 a.m. After practice on select Wednesdays, visitors and locals can meet the pilots, take photos with them and even get their autographs. Practices and meet-and-greets are held at the National Naval Aviation Museum, one of the world's largest air and space museums. Also at the museum, visitors can visit the Blue Angels Atrium to have their photos taken with real Blue Angels aircraft, positioned in flying formation. Use Alternate Routes to Blue Angels Practices If you are planning to attend upcoming Blue Angels' practices at the National Naval Aviation Museum beginning Wednesday, March 21, you are asked to take specific routes to help alleviate traffic issues in the area: 1. Blue Angel practice-related traffic coming from the Perdido Key area should take Sorrento Road and then travel south on Blue Angel Parkway, leaving Gulf Beach Highway open to local traffic. 2. Blue Angel practice-related traffic traveling from the eastern and northern parts of the county should merge on to Blue Angel Parkway at the most northern point possible. Additionally, parking on the rights of way in many portions of Old Gulf Beach Highway and Blue Angel Parkway is no longer permissible for safety and security. Signs are posted.

Jackson’s Steakhouse procures only Midwestern grain-fed beef from the heartland of America. The Proprietor's Cut and fresh, local seafood are hand-selected and artistically prepared to perfection.
