A bit of a trek, but the most full service grocery within reasonable walking distance. Still a small place and limited, but serviceable for a short vacation stay like yours!

If you're heading north over the bridge to the U District you'll find yourself returning down Roosevelt quite often. Trinity Market is directly in your path. Parking is a bit challenging, near here, but there is some on the side streets. Convenience / coffee is the vibe. Good selection and friendly people.

Just north of Trinity Market, this is a Chevron gas station / convenience store that has a decent selection and I find the owner to be very pleasant and enjoyable to buy from. It's often on your return trip from the north side of the water and parking is easy on-site. And of course you can fill up here too.

Shell gas station on 11th and 45th, which you'll pass regularly if you're heading north via car. Good place to grab a few things and get gas. Clean with nice employees, although some of the shops next door attract some "interesting" characters. Parking is easy.

Ivar's Salmon house is a bit of walk northwest over the bridge, or a short drive, but worth it. If we're upstairs or on our boat, perhaps we'll zip you across the water in the dinghy!
Ivar's is a Seattle staple. The Salmon House is the sit-down restaurant facing the water and Ivar's Fish Bar is more fast-food focused and is outdoor (but mostly covered) on the street side. Worth a visit and if you sit outside, or with a window seat in the Salmon House, you can look across the water to where you're staying!

Simply the best (only?) sushi place in Eastlake. Lunch can be reasonable, but dinner can get a bit $$$$ so just know that going in. Otherwise fantastic sushi in a lovely setting and right across the street from Eastlake Bar & Grill. Easily walkable and a nice night out dining.

2968 Eastlake Ave ESimply the best (only?) sushi place in Eastlake. Lunch can be reasonable, but dinner can get a bit $$$$ so just know that going in. Otherwise fantastic sushi in a lovely setting and right across the street from Eastlake Bar & Grill. Easily walkable and a nice night out dining.
Nice little Mexican(ish) place right down Eastlake Ave. Fantastic outdoor area overlooking the water (closes off around 9pm though if memory serves) and comfortable interior. We've found service to be spotty at times outside and in the main dining area, so plan accordingly, but our last couple visits were good. To guarantee great service or quick in/out we suggest the bar area, which has never failed us. Highly recommended with just those few minor caveats. Great place to get a unique Seattle experience along the water.

Excellent sandwich shop. A little bit more of a walk, but very worth it. Depending upon your abilities, one sandwich might be enough for two or get one each and have two meals? Open most of the day for coffee, great french bakery, or lunch time sandwiches. Nice little spot VERY close (2 minutes walk). Bakery so pretty you'll feel bad eating it!

GREAT breakfast and lunch spot. Never had a bad experience here. The only caveat is on the weekends, especially when school is in session it can get VERY busy and the line can get a bit long so plan accordingly. Totally worth it though if you do need to wait a bit. Otherwise go off-peak to avoid the lines.

There are a million delivery options, here are some of our favorites.
There are a lot of well known pizza places in Seattle, but Pudge Bros fly under the radar somehow. The pizza is outstanding in our opinion, delivery is quick and our orders are always exactly what we ordered. Definitely worth a try if you're feeling like a pizza delivery.
