Food and stuff!

Here's a handy list my workmate came up with, but we agree with completely

Born in Brunswick in North Hobart is an Instagrammer's paradise in terms of their beautifully constructed meals and Jardan-esque fit out. It's a little more experimental and straddles the line between breakfast and lunch in a more serious way than what us Australians have come to know as brunch. If you're not feeling adventurous, they do great scrambled eggs and bacon.

Breakfast/Lunch: Bear With Me in South Hobart is fairly new, but does good coffee and has a diverse range of breakfast and lunch options. The chef is from Chin Chin (a very, very popular Asian fusion restaurant in Melbourne), so some meals have a Thai/South East Asian influence.

Restaurant: Templo in North Hobart/Hobart is a teeny tiny little restaurant that seats around twenty people – quite communal – and the food is excellent. Modern Australian / Italian. The chef's menu is around $65 and is definitely worth it - as is the paired wines option. One of our faves.

Restuarant: Ettie's is a lovely old building in Hobart with a nice, sunny courtyard, dining room and bar. It's sort of modern Australian with a fair bit of French influence. They do a really well-priced prix fixe lunch menu, too. You can also take away wine. (Same owners as Willing Bros.)
