Where to eat and drink in and around Bra!

Since I'm a Gastronomic Sciences student, for me it's all about food. I'll give you my favourite places around town! Feel free to contact me, especially for seasonal recommendations!

Bar Pasticceria Converso Bra

It's a very charming café to visit all around the day. In the morning for some panini, a brioche and a cappuccino or in the evening for Aperitivo! (If you're not Italian you might not be familiar with this amazing concept yet: you order a drink and get some fine snacks for free! Aperitivo start usually around 5:30 up until 8:00) 2 minute walk from the apartment.

Best place to taste and buy tons of cheese. Try the formaggio di manicomio! 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Osteria More e Macine

If you have a car I highly recommend you to go here. The food is insanely good. They do a lot of Piemontese dishes that are slightly jazzier than the traditional versions. Fantastic selection of wines. Get the pancia di maiale (pork belly) and the lingua! Most amazing Aperol Spritz, no idea how they do it. 20 minutes by car, it's on the way from Bra to Barolo (fabulous ride through the winescape, I think the road is UNESCO world heritage)

One of my favourite places in Piemonte, not only because of the fantastic wines they are doing, but also because they are fantastic people. Family-owned winery that also does beers and has some donkey friends. Call them in advance for a tasting and a tour! About 1 hour drive from the apartment - and so worth it!

One of my favourite places in Piemonte, not only because of the fantastic wines they are doing, but also because they are fantastic people. Family-owned winery that also does beers and has some donkey friends. Call them in advance for a tasting and a tour! About 1 hour drive from the apartment - and so worth it!

Little market every wednesday & friday morning and saturday afternoon. There's a lot of local and organic producers, but not all of them. The café on Piazza Giolitti (Café Giolitti) does a fabulous cappuccino! 7 minutes walk from the apartment.
