I first went to the Pensacola location while in Navy Officer Candidate School back in 1998. Don't forget to kiss the moose!

I classified the Donut Hole Cafe as a restaurant, but they have a great bakery, coffee, and breakfast. Personally, the Donut Hole and Another Broken Egg are tied for best local traditional breakfast, but the Donut Hole wins for their great bakery! Their Key Lime Pie rivals the best from the Florida Keys! This place is very popular for breakfast, so show up early on weekends or try their Santa Rosa Beach (on the way to 30A) location to avoid a wait. If you are looking for an evening dessert, the last time we went in the evening, the place was quiet, so it is a good time to stop in.

Personally, the Donut Hole and Another Broken Egg are tied for best local traditional breakfast, but the Donut Hole wins for their great bakery! Their Key Lime Pie rivals the best from the Florida Keys! This place is very popular for breakfast, so show up early on weekends or try their Santa Rosa Beach (on the way to 30A) location to avoid a wait. Parks & Nature
Norriego Point is a narrow peninsula that is about .3 mi long that divides the Destin Inner Harbor and the Destin Pass. Walk along the inner harbor side or the Destin pass shore for a look at beautiful white sand beaches, clear protected water to swim in, and some good fishing spots. Check out the protected coves on the Destin Pass (west) side of the peninsula for a great place to swim and relax.

Topsail has a significant trail network to include paved bike paths. Our favorite hike is the several mile loop trail that passes by coastal dune lakes, sand pine scrub, old-growth long leaf pine forest, wetlands, dunes, and ending with a 1 mile walk on undeveloped/protected beach. This park is extremely well kept, has nice facilities, and is significantly larger than all others in the local area to include 3 miles of protected beach. Spend the morning hiking and the afternoon in the Seaside/Watercolor area.
If you are looking for somewhere different to soak up the sun, take a drive down Hwy 30A and hit Grayton Beach State Park. This park boasts a beautiful natural beach and was rated one of the top 10 beaches in Florida! One of our favorite spots.
