Right by the beach, this is a very friendly relaxed and dog friendly pub the locals and visitors use. A sunny afternoon drink followed by a stroll along the beach cannot be beaten!
Food is served also and, often there is live music at weekends. New Years Day Dip sees the pub fill with fancy-dress swimmers seeing in the New Year too!

Quaint cottages with sea-defence doorways align the shore, small shops and café and a public house work in unison with the old church, village green and quay. Use caution if parking on the hard as when the tide comes in your car goes under!

Historic gardens nestled at the foot of the South Downs. Walks, historical features, walled garden and, of course plants and trees of manner, this is a truly unique day out. Arts events take place regularly with their own Arts and Crafts event.
