“The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park showcases an impressive multi-story sculptural fountain that sees sheets of water cascading over large concrete walls and sculptures. The structure's semi-circular shape towers 64 feet above you and is fronted by a large arch and 46,500 square feet of water. It's an attraction that needs to be seen to truly be appreciated. This 2.77-acre park, covered with dozens of live oaks, is located in Uptown Houston.”

“A small little area that is perfect for pictures. It has a beautiful water fall. Across the street from the galleria. Its a small space for good scenery and photo ops.”

“Visitors can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in Uptown and then stroll over to this 64-story marvel that glistens and sparkles as thousands of gallons of water spill over the smooth rock.”

“Even in full sun the arboretum is a good place for a walk in the woods in the middle of Houston. It is fairly heavily wooded and the shade is welcome on a cool day, a necessity in the summer. In the spring it is a marvelous place to see wildflowers and wild strawberries. We’ve never seen much wildlife except for egrets but friends have been quite lucky to see a variety of migrating song birds. One of my favorite Houston spots.”
